Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said the West has failed miserably to stem growing Islamophobia. The Turkish president made the remarks in a speech in Istanbul on Saturday. News Daily Sabah.
The West is encouraging the spread of Islamophobia in the world or they are not taking any action against it. Muslims are under pressure today as projects such as European Islam, French Islam and Australian Islam are on the rise.
Erdogan also said that Western governments were undermining religious values by resorting to violence against Muslims and depriving them of freedom of speech.
He said Turkish institutions would work against any action against Muslims in those countries.
Several European countries, especially France, have recently passed some laws against Muslims. Even French President Emmanuel Macron is inciting anti-Muslim hatred. The President of Turkey strongly condemned it.
