The Prophet Muhammad's behavior with non-Muslims

If you want to go through life, you have to deal with all kinds of people.  Family, subordinates, friends, relatives, how many types of people to mix with, how many classes of people to mix with.  When dealing with so many people, one should be careful not to be mistreated.  In this regard also the example of the Prophet (peace be upon him) is exemplary for us.  The following is a brief summary of the Prophet's treatment of different classes of people.

Behavior of the Prophet (peace be upon him) with his family:

The Prophet (peace be upon him) was very caring towards his wives.  He would look for all the wives every day and give them time.  It is narrated on the authority of 'Abdullah ibn' Abbas that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to sit at the place of prayer after the Fajr prayer.  People also sat around him until sunrise.  Then he would go to each of his wives, greet them, pray for them, and go and sit with those who had days. '(Tibrani, Hadith: 8764)

He even assisted his wives in household chores.  Ayesha (RA) said, ‘The Prophet (SAW) used to fix shoes, sew clothes and work as you do at home.’ (Musnad Ahmad, Hadith: 25380)

The Prophet's treatment of non-Muslims:

The beloved Prophet (peace be upon him) was so generous that he never treated any non-Muslim unnecessarily and warned the Companions about it.  Narrated Asma, daughter of Abu Bakr, she said: My non-Muslim mother came to me in the time of the Prophet (peace be upon him).  I asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) if I would treat him well.

He said yes.  Ibn Waynah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: In the context of this incident, Allah revealed:GOD does not forbid you to be kind to those who have not fought you in religion, and have not expelled you from your homes, and to be just.  (Bukhari, Hadith: 5978)

The Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) treatment of servants:

People usually misbehave with servants and subordinates as soon as they remove lime from the salt.  But the Prophet (peace be upon him) never did that.  Ayesha said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) never beat a servant or a woman.  (Abu Dawood, Hadith: 4786).

In another hadith, it has been narrated that Anas (RA) said, "I have served the Prophet (SAW) for 10 years."  But he never said to me ah!  Didn't make the word.  Didn't ask, why did you do this and why not?  (Bukhari, Hadith: 6037).
